The soulful vocal stylings of British Singer Calum Scott echoed throughout Austin 360 Amphitheater Saturday night as he opened up for Pentatonix on their 2018 tour. Performing songs from his debut album “Only Human,” Scott’s vocals were the refreshing taste that audience members needed on that hot summer night. Between songs, Scott took a few seconds to introduce the meaning and talk about the inspirations behind the lyrics. Drawing from his personal experience coming out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Scott had no shame in being as honest and personal in his performance as his album reflects. Being his first time performing in Austin, Scott without a doubt left an lasting impression on the audience that night.
